    Straightliners track is good.

Simon and i went to Evans Head today to check the track out. We spent about an hour there checking it out and all is good. The strip we will be using is clean and straight. We have 1000 mtrs to play with. The airstrip has very few ripples, nothing a streetbike couldnt cope with easily. You may rest assured that the strip is up to any road bike standard. Any questions just ask and Simon or myself, we should be able to answer regarding track conditions. We also did a tour of the town and the caravan park is opposite the pub, the pub passes the test too with something on saturday nights, the kebab shop is good Cheers Shayne

Which runway are we using?? the one nearest the hangers had a rough patch at ~400 metres from the roadside armco ,but room either side.
Nice surface otherwise ... 1000m? better get this event underway before its down to 200m

The 3000m info was given to us incorrectly. There is 3000m but it's 3 x 1000m! 2 of which are fucked. I reset the trip counter and took the ute down the strip (yes, it's the nearest one to the hangers). A really good 400m "full go" area and 400m slow down area was concluded. Anyway, here's some pictures to prove the point lads:

The shit in the foreground is just where the bikes will line up. The track starts good from the red line drawn:

Here's the bit Booster was on about, but as you can see there is two car widths of track which is spot on next to it.

and even the patches are not loose.......

and if Razorback comes along there's even a personalised area for him to play in....

All in all it's going to be sweet! The locals are few and far between and seem like good blokes, so we have the run of the town. Should be a great weekend!

Where the line is drawn is fine mate. The grass is just the roll up area.
