I'll actually be taking the dragbike as i need more testing & seat time before the nationals.
However i WILL be taking the gs to the street meet this weekend but only for a couple of passes
just to see what the new donk will do, promise i won't beat ya too bad Oz
Oh & i will help you out with what ever you need, not just pointing & laughing
I will be there with a few mates on the Turbo as the new bike is a few months off yet! Not expecting anything too great, just some seat time like Papa.
One of the guys that will be coming along, ran a 9.90@142MPH with a 1.773 60ft last night on a K6 GSXR 1000, lowered with a pipe!
Should be a good day, looking frward to it.

Yeah mate, no trailer sailer here!
It just means I wont be laying into the tyre as hard as normal.

Im going.... just to show you blokes i really am the fastest ASF member down the 1/4 mile,
You might be quicker than me, but sorry mate,
my cash would be on NTB or aBUSa
Still think that after the meet you should post up a
league table of ASF members best times, give folk something
to aim for, bit of friendly rivalry.

Yeah Simon , a 1/4 mile section would be great. Dedicated to drag racing.

Yea yea, I know, I know, just one thing missing - bloody times! All talk no action so far! Don't let me down.
I wouldnt discount Papa as not being the quickest either Tony, hard to beat bars for consistency!!
Anyway hope to see you all in a couple of weeks.
Shayne
Yeah, nothing against Papa, still looking forward toquote:Originally posted by abusa

meeting up, but I was thinking about street / ride to
pub bikes. Just 1 list of ASF members best times ? Wouldnt
be a drama to put something next to a name to indicate
Road or RACE and would be a good comparison between the
two.
Tony.J.
OK. So what do you want to see this chart looking like? Name : 1/4mile time : Speed : date : Event - anything else or something different?
reaction time and 60ft would be good
I think your on the mark there Si.quote:Originally posted by Gix11

Personaly I would be interested in if was ridden to the meet,
trailered in or running slicks/bars.
Should be easy to put something like...
S.R Streetbike Ridden in,
S.T Streetbike Trailered in,
R.B Race Bike,
I saw a lot of "Streetbikes" with rego in the UK running big bore
motors, no lights, huuuuge arms and tiny ground clearance being trailered to meetings.
Just my 5c's worth.
Ozkat and aBUSa might have better idea's.
Tony.J.
(Dont you have Turbokat and Deano's numbers to kick it off with?)
Ok ladies. Get me some times: http://www.streetfighters.com.au/ASF_member_times.asp to get to it just now from the home page go to the EVENTS PAGE: http://www.streetfighters.com.au/ASF_events.asp
[8D][8D][8D]
Now we have a target
If you want a couple of dyno numbers to give folk something to beat...
My 04 Busa 159.5-bhp at 320k's Gold Coast Show 4th Sept 05

Sunday July 16th..

My 02 Busa 151.8 at 295k (is it best Quarter / Dyno run
per member or per bike?)
Ozkat 7/11 147.7 at 285k
Puppet Superduke 116.6
What a top idea.
I think a time slip or dyno sheet would be plenty of verification.
Can't wait to get my old nail posted up there, Kwinana motorplex opens in September so i'm hoping it'll be run in and dynoed by then too. Maybe a few of the perth jockeys can get together and lay down some times.
Cant wait to see if NTB has a dyno print-out [8D]
Tony.J.
Ok Tony. Your times are added mate. I'll start a new sticky to get the ball rolling.......
OK groovers, i just got off the phone with Mad Mike & we're trying to get an idea of numbers.
So the BIG question is.....who's actually going on saturday?
We really want to break our record of 53 bikes on track.[8D]
