which is heaps more energy that needs to be absorbed by thing bending and breaking etc
add to that that larger bikes that make shitloads more power than you vtr also make shitloads more heat
so they have bigger and wider rad/s that tend to not like a few hundred kg's of bike dropping onto them
frame sliders tend to be designed to protect the vitals (rads and engine cases)
