    '06 Bandit 12's

    2006 Bandit 1200's.
Not sure what AU get's, Faired / unfaired ?
    Few new bits,
    Split Front / Rear seats,
    Polished Case's,
Clear indicators and a few new bits of trim,
    SV styling,
Can's NOT a "bolt on" anymore

I would expect this to be the last of this type of B12's,
    at least with carbs.

Love it or hate it, for Suzuki fans everywhere, at least it
means Suzuki are still producing THAT engine [8D]

Rapid had a write up in the last issue. According to them the Red one is the Oz model and it comes in one colour and one style exavtly as you see it. No major changes to speak of. Jusr 45mm more on the swingarm and the tank is smaller in size but retains the same capacity. This apparently gives the rider a more forward sitting feel. It still has carbs .... so no EFI yet. I kinda like it. Not too thrilled about the longer swingarm as it would probably reduce the wheelyability (is that a word ? ) But overall if I had the cash Id probably grab one and turn it into something decent.

I can really picture it with a bigass braced swingarm, no bikini plastic and a bellypan. HELL YES!

Thought the Naked / Black looked the best of the bunch,
although I still think the very first on the Mk-1 style Naked
    Bandits looked far better.

Have a look at a few new big bikes,
Hard to find one with carbs.
New emmision reg's in EU and USA seem to mean it will have to be injection.
Will Suzuki bother to inject a 20 year old engine that it only uses
in one model of bike ? I think not. Could be the last of the B12's
    as we know them.

Is it just me or can no one else see that frame? It's shite. It's so disjointed you're stuck with that palstic in the middle for ever. I don't think there's much hope for this one. The best part is the fact that this means my bike will still be running for another 20 years due to the continuation of the engine. Thank you Mr.Suzuki.

Yeah, with the 3 generations of B12's, they seemed to start
off real good and then go down hill (IMO).
Fingers crossed that they sell SOME of these over the next
3 or 4 years (or how ever long the model runs) as I think
that might be the last we see of that engine

Maybe Mr.Suzuki is a smarter fellow than we think? Think about it, this bike will be bought by older guys into touring and taking it easy. Lots of highway use to run it in nicely and maintain it for a few years for fuck sticks like us to buy a really good engine at a low cost. Thanks again Mr.Suzuki. Keeping the streetfighters alive.

Anyone who can come up with Katana 1000's and 1100's,
    1135EF's, GSXR1100's, Bandit12's and Hayabusa's is
pretty f*ckin smart by my standards anyway.[8D]

(Lets keep quiet about some of the GS500 twins,
GT380 triples and RE rotary's though shall we !) [)]

Come on Tony, what about the venerable water-bottle?

Or the X7? that fugger was uglier than me in the mornings, or any time of day for that matter.

doing around the ports and they were Giant killers.

I certainly prefer the look of the earlier ones too. I think after 99 was where they started to get all fussy and shiny with em.
