went out for a short squirt on Saturday arvo with a couple of others
did the black Spur on sunday and saw Damige at healsville - small world.
he was on a ride with a group.
his bike looks real trick - stands out like dogs balls

Ahh, the split personality is coming out in Deano as well. I thought only Rexie had that? I'm not sure if Damige has changed his bike since he sent it in a couple of years ago but this is what it used to look like:

Gday Deano,

It Was Great to meet you, and a great day for a ride all though a slow one ( which i didnt mind)as 2 years not riding im very rusty and i think i better look into 6 gear, i will try to catch up on the 18th and it turns out it might be the only day i can get to the expo.
I havnt changed much on the bike but i have a few ideas that i would like to try so if anyone knows of a bent TLR sub frame could you let me know.

Hey Damige,

Still with the original plan for the 18th at the moment (ie meet Cafe Racer StKilda etc).

Ultimately I would like to see the Vic group becoming more of a "riding" group than "latte" group but think we need to do 1 or 2 meet 'n' greets before we get to that stage.

I rode past Cafe Racer last Sunday & we should be OK even if it rains as there is an undercover area in front of the shop to stand if its wet.

I will post a confirmation of details next week.
