grab a bit of front brake, let the forks compress, then when you grab the lever harder to do the stoppie bring your weight forward onto the bars and off the pegs a bit so its got a chance to come up. thatll start you off.

I use standard pressure in front tyre, am 120ks and do a fairly good roling stoppie, including high chair stoppies. the trick is in the technique, as proved by many riding schools if you grab a load of front lever without setting up the front ( ie take up preload, lfatten out front tyre etc ) it dosent matter how much pressure you got , or how soft the tyre is etc, you will lock the front wheel. Learn to stop quickley without lifting the back first then the rest will come.

k dude this is how it goes (on my bike anyway) if your locking up the tyre your not preloading your forks enought.... u wanna grab a bit of break compress those forks then sort of shift your weight forward and push down on the bars from your shoulder (get the weight of the back) then grab some more till the wheel comes up... u have no preload ajustment on the forks so dont worrie about that.. droping a few psi will make it a bit easyer but ull just lock it up more if your not excituing it properly just make certain u pump it up before u ride again.... tankslappers suck... on mine vtr 250 05 its 41 stock and i use about 32-35 frount 4 stoppies (got 14m down)... hope that helps dude
    Peace
