You should be quiet pleased with this out come mate it looks the mickey quack , I think for mine I would like to see the fairing on the sub frame should be about 6 inches shorter , and you definately need to give the engine a fresh coat of black , part from that , its real nice

Just out of curiosity mate, how did you attach them and were they solid and secure. It's quite original for a GSXR and looks pretty cool. Saying that I personally prefer your bike without them.

to be honest with you this wasn't my idea,i had spotted a fightered R1 with those side panels on.
They were attached with small brackets,i think if you look close you can see them, ofcourse the image quality doesn't help...
they were pretty solid... however I couldn't agree more with you, this is exactly what i thought when i saw them on my bike!
It looks Original, but not as pretty as without them!

However,in general,i really like the idea of side panels
so.... i am on a new side panel project...!

832 Aussie dollars??? Fuck me, if you look hard enough there are desperate dealers who'd take that for the whole bike [:0]

You might want to photoshop the green engine, one of the blokes on here might do it for you if you haven't got it. Green is one of those colours you can have too much of IMHO. Looks the bollox at the mo so it would be a shame to fuck it, be better to check what it would look like first....
