I don't reckon those decals would work mate. 2 reasons: 1). the design is preangled which will leave the text "Honda" in a straight line along the tank (a pet hate of mine) rather than pointing down the angle with the tank (like I did previously) - 2). the design is more of a box shape and would distort over the curves of the tank.

Yep, that doesn't look right to me either. Which is a pity.
What about getting rid of the HONDA and just using the wing and knuckles rotated a bit to follow the line of the indent on the tank?

Same story ,ate, once you rotate the wing, the bottom edge of the knuckles wouldn't line with anything. You'd be better off just losing the HONDA line and using the wings as a logo (to the front of the bike) to whatever word you had in the same place as the ones I created earlier. Having two defined anglkes in that design limit the possibilities completely.

The carbon akra from the MT09 with a modified loop the loop link pipe is on my exhaust guy sent me this pic as a teaser.
I picked it up saturday - it sounds fucking awesome. you can still hear the GDC, and it's just raspy enough.
Anyone want a jardine slash cut with a baffle?

    $70+ post?
It was originally for a Gixxer- supposed to slip onto the cat converter.
I had it tweaked a bit to fit the vfr, and added the generic internal baffle.
I'll text you some pics tomorrow.

Why the loop-de-loop link pipe? looks like it'd drag on right handers?

longer pipe, more top end. And its different. On an MT, the loop sits where the cat converter normally sits.
We almost laid it on its side and it didn't touch, but if i get nervous, it can get tweaked a little.
I drag the left hand footpeg quite a lot, but I'm not so good on rights.

Its actually got some ebay/china footpegs that are 25mm higher and back than stock. the pipe sits about where the old footpeg was.

    I like it. Vids?

I see your plasti dip is holding up well. How many coats did you put on it?
Can't remember if it was real plasti dip or the supershit version.

I think a super cheap brand.
It rubbed off around the tank indent pretty quick on a track day, but everywhere else it's held up well.

    No vids.

At least the red underneath matches the akra sticker.

Exhaust looks mint and should sound killer being an Akra.

Did the Jardins sell? Think I could make it work well with a ZX9R headers I have to make a shorty exhaust.

collideascope is painting some bits for me. I saw an xr6 turbo ute, and looked up the colour -ford citric acid for the wheels and rear spring, matte black yokes, calipers, fork lowers.
