Rod, is there an exhaust flapper valve in the original system like the GSXR1000's ?
Maybe the servo is trying to cycle the valve when the engine warms up, spins round in a full circle, has a little spaz attack and makes the whole thing go to sleep.

When I got my muffler for my Gixer thou to replace the stock can including the exhaust valve, the instructions showed me which cable to unpin in the harness so the FI light didnt come on.

Maybe you need to do something like that.
CAUTION!: Attempting to overtake may result in a high speed wheelie

In the yoshimura instructions it says to disconnect it and return it to the original position so it doesn't throw a code and there is no light flashing on the dash ....when it stops and I try to start it it turns over but won't start but I noticed that if you keep cranking it over the dash drops out and then lights up again and then it starts I am going to test battery in morning ....do these thing have fucked reg/rectifier issues like previous models does anyone know

    Btw thanks rocket

Well after a head fuck of a morning I tried the bike without the power commander and it runs fine so my question is has anyone ever heard of these things shitting them selves or having dodgy connections I don't want the bike to leave here without it fitted cos I am a bit worried about it having the full system and bmc filter with no power commander on it

I would try a new flattery - regardless of age they can drop a cell. they're designed to fail nowadays because if they build them to last they don't sell as many and don't make as much many. 2yrs is the outside they are designed for and any longer than that from a new battery is a bonus. I'll bet if you check the age of the battery it's over 12months and outside the manufacturers warranted period. IF it even had one to begin with. Then look at the reg rec.

I have checked all of that and it seems fine and like I said taking the power commander off the bike has fixed it but it needs to be fitted
