I got myself a set from a ZX14 off US ebay. With the aussie dollar the way it is was hard to pass up. You wont regret getting them.

When you get them, hit Ben up for a pair of pots to suit. Good stuff and arnt to tall when attached to the masters.

Been busy the last few days. got all my headlight and carbon top clamp cleared and fitted. made a bunch of brackets and spacers for my steering damper to relocate it behind the lower triple clamp.

Nice Mr ZXR, I cant see how the top tripple is clamped to the forks though. But the set is pretty bloody cool mate. I like your trick with the wire's from the controls too.

That front end is looking fantastic.

Is the top clamp just slipped over the forks leaving all the clamping to be done by the bottom triple?

Bet ur using some good loctite on that single nut holding the top triple on [:0]

You've got a talent with the carbon for sure.

thanks for the comments. the top carbon clamp is a cover that slips over the top of the stock top clamp. purely for looks. the stock clamp does up as it normally would and provides all the strength and the top nut only holds the cover in place. it's also secured by the riser bolts. it was a fuckin mission to make but i'm real happy with the result.

Looks good Josh, the oil cooler looks to be in a dangerous position.

yeah it sits pretty close to the ground. it looks bloody ugly too. the old fairings used to hide alot of ugly shit. i'm tempted to take it off but it made a massive difference in cooling. i'm thinking of some kind of belly pan to hide it's uglyness.

it's made from 2mm aluminium and is pretty robust. it's scraped a couple of times over speed humps and held up ok. i'd still prefer somethimg a bit nicer looking so any suggestions welcome.

Is there a pump on the oil cooler?
Is that the only oil cooler on the bike?

I'm not running a cooler between the turbo drain and the motor, not to say you shouldn't but do you even need it?

i've got a scavange pump just after the oil cooler and yes i definately did need it. unless there is a real good fall after the turbo down to the sump you need a pump. i had the pump fail once down the quater and i blew the motor up because it blew oil pass the seals in the turbo and that caused it to detonate.

I meant, do you need the cooler there?
Could you run just the pump and not the cooler?

ahhhh, i see. no you probably don't need one there. the zxr's have a water over oil cooler down near the oil filter. I had overheating issues so i added the other oil cooler and it made a big difference.
