Had a Superduke a while ago,and it would have to have been one of my favourite streetbikes i'd ever owned.
Comfy and grunty for the road. Handled great on the track, but did feel slow there.

get a 950 BST carbed one replace with 41FCR's
just finished my 950 Superenduro rally raid bike project 39FCR's was one of the mod's & the bike was like chalk & cheese comparing carbs & power.

    sweet ride chopiesel
you pulled the SAS & CANERSECTOMY mod done ?

still on TLZone ? oldtlsdoug's getting a nice KTM collection
    SD990R & RC8 ltd edition akropovic

my fault he bought the SD i had him oldering parts from CHIP at MUNN RACING & it cought his eye so had to buy it he loved it so much he bought the RC8 a month later LOL lucky bugger.

i'd like a 990R SD but hear the throttle is very snatchy on the EFI models so was thinking of a 950 SD & pull the BST's & put 41FCR's on it.

my 950 went from pulling at the bars first gear mono's to 1 to 3 gear no effort monos & lighting up the rear wheel on the roll FCR's rock.

There is new freeware out now called TuneECU, basically like Tuneboy, only with more features and it is free, you just need to make your own cable or buy a pre-made one for $40.

TuneECU allows full custom mapping of individual cylinders fuel and ignition tables, as well as disabling things like the SAS and secondary throttle butterflies.

This program along with a company called MotoHooligan who makes airboxes and modified throttle butterflies really makes these things great with the EFI.

I have used TuneECU on my SDR to load a custom map to suit my slip on cans, amazing difference to stock!
