    ZXR take 2

Well it's project time again so i picked up another ZXR to play with. It's going to be a simple build with a black on black look.
Just need to find a few more parts and im set need an exhaust a right pillion peg and a water pump neck so if anyone has any of these bits handy please let me know.Im building this for a good mate of mine who plans on buying it when finished so he will have a bit of input on the project as long as i like his ideas

Ok i got to spend some time in the shed today and got the bike striped and ready for powder coat

Now i just need to chat to a painter about what paint to use on the engine. All the covers will be in powder, and i want the paint to last for a while. So im no convinced that anything that comes out of a spray can will last

Before you powder coat it put bolts in all the threads so they don't get coated on the inside of the threads.
Or you'll have to tap them all out.

Also tell the coater of any places you DON"T want coated, like bearing seats etc.

Don't just tell 'em...write it down...hand it to them as part of a contract...and tape a copy to the frame...
I dealt with the main man for mine but the fuckwits in the workshop still coated inside of the yokes, bearing areas etc...
So we 'negotiated' on the price...
