    im a relocation engineer. i pick stuff up in newcastle and drop it off in brisbane. then i pick up some more stuff in brisbane then drop it off in newcastle. i do this 2 or 3 times a week. it is exciting and sometimes i get to play silly games with car drivers. []

    Work for Group Training Australia/All Trades Queensland as a 4th year Carpentry apprentice... Actually picked up apprentice of the year in 05' which kinda paid for my current bike.

    What area you in? Contract rates in CBR are high at the moment in BA/development/DB type roles. Centrelink are looking for 150 BA's at the moment, and have only got 5 so far apparently.

    I worked in the manufacturing side of the scuba diving game ie machining all parts for the breathing regs using lathes (cnc)and mills then worked in the mechanical 4x4 game then got into welding so i now make steel security doors, gates and shit like that also do our own powdercoating.

    Currently working in Retail Floorcoverings,(on and off for about the last 15yrs),in between i've done factory and lab work in the food and mining industries (worked out in the pit at Cadia mine for a year, was a fire assayer for another year).
    Need a 9 to 5, as my Mrs is a nurse and works shifts, so I gotta be home for kids.
    I also work as a Stay Upright instructor on a couple of weekends a month, keeps me in tyres for the GSXR.

    I sell industrial vacuum pumps. If anyone who does vacuum forming needs anything vacuum related, give me a call. We also sell vacuum pumps for applications ranging from pneumatic conveying through to oddball applications like removing starch from corn & supplying vacuum to the machine which puts the tiny holes in cigarettes - and everything in between.
