Finally getting some decent net time to upload some pics and share what I've done so far.
Still waiting on my panels to come back from the painter and once that is done I'll just have to get cracking on a Dominator style front.
I have it sitting up off the ground because I can't put the wheel in until I get my front guard back. I'm pretty sure I need the front wheel out to put the guard back in yeah??
I have got a new hoop for the front to much the one on the back which has probably done less than 750 kms. They are now both Pirelli Angel ST's.
Things I have done:
1. Repainted the bottom triple clamp gloss black after etch priming it.
2. Touched up a few rub marks on the frame where the old fairings rubbed.
3. Replaced the Front brake reservoir and connector.
4. Installed a fender eliminator
5. Installed dump style gp pipe.
6. Installed shorter dog bones, raising it by 45mm.
7. Repaired the radiator, straightened it out, etc. Including Rad Guard.
8. Cut off the old exhaust mount point on the pillion peg bracket.
Once I get my panels back from the painter, I will be sourcing a Dominator kit on Ebay.
Does anyone know what style of bar end mirror is the best? I want something sleek, black and decent quality. Is there cheap ones on ebay I should steer clear of, or are they much of a muchness.
