Painted motor looks shmick, what paint did you use?

I reckon polished fins on the barrels/head would set it off.

EFE I used VHT engine enamal matt black. Yeah also thought polished fins would look good to. I did it on one side before I painted it as a test and it wasnt my taste. Im waiting on staneless steel bolt kit to arrive before the engine gets installed again. So I may get bored waiting for parts and give the fins a hit.

Ive have been chipping away at this project every night of the week and have started the custom subframe made out of steel (bit on the heavy side)Installed the engine, installed the wire loom and in the middle of shortening what is needed up. Ive also post a mok-up of what it should look like with the headlight, tank and tail on.
The subframe isnt completed yet, need to make the bottom brace and plate the holes and paint it up. The "T" will also support the rear of the tail as well. and nice bit of plate will sit on the seat area also for added support.

Wow unlimited, thats just awesome start! It is 100% this forum an all you guys that inspired me build this bike. I just hope that it's to a standard where it can hold its own and been know as a streetfighter. And I can finally wear my patch with meaning.
Tyres are on the rims now, wheels are temp on the bike. If there weather is kind, I will take some more pic's tomorrow. Oh and the plan for paint is about early Feb, so hopefully on the road early March 11.

Ive been a bit slack on the updating of this build, and im sorry. Ive spent alot of time in the garage working hard on the build.

Anyhoo, subframe is completed, the wires for the rear are just about done including battery plate. Wheels are on with tyres and new sprockets are also installed.

    Anyhoo, now for the pictures..
