This year we would like to double the funds & double the awareness of type one Diabetes.
Other fun around: There are a LOT of good roads around Bairnsdale as i am sure a lot of you are aware (up into the hills).
UPDATE:
Plan at this stage (04/10/10):
8:00am on Saturday the 30th of Oct: Meet up at BP on the corner of Willsmere and Earl St, in Kew North (just off the eastern, seems like a good central place to meet) http://maps.google.com.au/maps?q=ser...2&z=17&iwloc=A
Follow this lovely nice long path to Bairnsdale: http://maps.google.com.au/maps/ms?ie...fb4387a3e9&z=8
Lunch stop at whatever town we reach at around lunch time (i figure we should hit bright at about 12:30-13:00 so that would be a good place to stop) then carry on the rest of the way.
Finish up at my folks house just out of Bairnsdale. They have a covered deck that you can chuck your swag on or there is a bit of room to pitch a tent if you would prefer. We are planning on getting whoever comes to pitch in a couple of bucks and we will grab some drinks and meat and have a bit of a BBQ.
Saturday morning we will head into the bike show just before it starts at 9:00. After it is over i think it will be a free for all. I plan on staying another night or 2 in Bairnsdale, others are welcome to hang around as well if you like... might even go dirt bike riding with the old man :P (normally far from SV friendly though... don't know how a storm would fair though.)
