Joe Walsh made me smile on the way home from work.

"I have a mansion but forget the price, ain't never been there, they tell me its nice

My Maseratti does one-eighty-five, I lost my licence, now I don't drive"

Maybe not the next Billy Shakespeare but it works for me, funny bugger.

I think that's the last time I'll get to play tunes at work!

Mine seems to be an extended version, he ends the song and says...

"Here comes a flock of Waa-waa's!"

Followed by a minute or two of him going... "Waa-waa-waa-waa-waa-waa-waa-waa-waa-waa-waa-waa-waa-waa-waa-waa-waa-waa-waa"

    Mad bugger!

Cliché I know, but every time I hear his name this tune comes into my head:

..and mad? Yes certainly! How would you last that long with the Eagles if you weren't mad?

Ha that was pretty good My kids love Zep - 10yo daughter loves playing drums so she's right into Bonzo, and 11yo son is learning bass and before I could even point it out he was commenting on JPJ's bass.

This is just an astonishing performance - when Zep took to the stage between 1968 and 1975 or so they had no lighting, no pyro, no props - just four dudes smashing it out. They only added the garnishes once other bands had started to do so, but they never needed to.

I literally cannot get that song out of my head.

Worth watching all 7-8 minutes of it. The call/response stuff in the middle is gold. And Jimmy's guitar work...

    Play it LOUD!

Good info mate. Miami Marketta as well, fuck that will be tight! I haven't seen them since the early 2000's.

In that case get him to listen to this - the isolated Bass track from Ramble on! You could never imagine how much bass work was going on behind such a cruisey song!

Thanks mate we loved it! Sting also played deceptively complex basslines in The Police.
