start up a thread for that!!!

how large a rapid proto can he make etc?
anyways, best not to steal bens thunder so start a new one

went to a demo about rapid proto, pretty interesting shit!
Dont worry mate will do but for now will just hijack Exben's post - They can make as a big a piece as you want - they glue the segments together like a jigsaw but the cost is too prohibitive. They charge by volume and time on the machine. I use these guys a fair bit through work so i know how to optimise a model to save $$$'s - I will end up making an endo skeleton to fibreglass over as the cheap material is very brittle. To get something fully formed and finished in durable carbon material would cost $1500 easy. I'm banking on about $200 for the prototype which would be ready to take a couple layers of glass. I'll start the thread after the Story Bridge bike show in 2 weekends - I'm too busy cleaning the 12r up for the stand atm.[8D]
Cheers Ben - hijacking of your thread is over now

Stumbled across this bike on Ebay! Titled " naked motorcycle "

I must say the seller had no idea about the value of this bike. Few crappy photos and short sentence under the listing description it was clearly hidden deep in Ebay search engine. In fact, I also noticed it was listed under ride on toys for children.

    Here's a photo.

That's a one off custom job that took him ages to come up with apparently. Are you planning on making your own?

Yeah as Si said it was a custom job & not really something that I could replicate easily, It worked on Venom because it had the VFR swingarm conversion & there was a nice bit of room for the "muffler" under there.

thanks for the info Ben and Si, I had thought of turning my TL into a fighter but I think i'll just look out for another one later on as I have another project on the go now.
