JFR My Place. June Long Weekend. June 9-10-11

I have a few acres at Hollisdale NSW. (Google Calara Lane Hollisdale)

It's pretty close to the start/end of the Oxley

Ben wants to meet Si up there to propose to him or something.

Anyone else interested in coming up/down for the weekend?

If you want to bring trailies we could go to my place and learn backflips and have a big fire and camp in the shed Sat night

Or if you want to make a ride of it do the Oxley and meet at mine sat arvo for alcohol and food and fire. (They've dropped the speed limit on the Oxley)

I'm prolly staying the whole week, so you're welcome to stay Sunday night as well.

I have a biggish shed so you'll need a blow up matress/fartbag/booze drugs etc.

If you're riding, I could pick up preordered booze on Sat Morning.

Also- If anyone is interested and wants to throw in 20$ we could have a fireworks show... with proper fireworks.

I'd welcome the opportunity to come and get pissed and stoned but since the new year, I've given it all up to improve my health.
A concept that goes above the heads of most.
The issue of air freighting my bike 10000 miles is also prohibitive.
Have an interesting weekend in my absence....

Ok, so not a lot of interest, but I'm planning to be there friday night or early Saturday.

We've got Fireworks...and warned the neighbours.

Next Door Neighbour is having a few over for a bonfire on the hill, and is happy for folk to ride (transit stage) through his property to the trails in the hills if my place gets too small.

It will be coldish...There's a couple of mattresses in the shed, first in best served. You'll need to bring something warm to sleep in so vans/wagons preferred unless you're happy to spoon with 3 others on a mattress.

Is anyone coming?

It's my b'day weekend so the Mrs has organised weekend away for us. Have fun mate

Thanks Large for the Holden tour/clearing of the trees / lantana and the experience to try the dropbox shitter. Thanks to Mike for the tow out in the morning and lets hope he can walk again. Thanks to Simon for the Harbour Bridge fireworks display and Ben for bringing the bike up and falling out of a fish-tailing vehicle. Thanks to Mark for letting me hear him spewing all night and I don't plan to share a mattress with Huddo any time soon again. Quite a lot of action for 24 hours.

PS. If anyone really likes clearing up lantana, feel free to come to my place. There's beers in the fridge to assist in the task

The trick apparently is to buy a $500 Holden Frontera and then load it full of guys from QLD, then smash into the bush until you find something too hard to move (like a large tree). Repeat.

That's the trick. Preferably weld/bolt on a bit of railway line to the front of the Frontera to keep its face pretty, before bashing bush
