Hey Pete. Welcome to the madness mate.
I have to approve first posts due to spammers, but you;re all good to go now.
The VFR SSSA is a common one mate, so you'll have no problems there.
Cheers

Welcome, Im impressed that UK guys get sent to an Aussie site to see how things can be done. Pictures of the projects would be cool. If you can spare the time, make a build thread.

Welcome Pete, post up some pics mate

Good on ya mate. post pics, we all love a good build thread.

Welcome Pete.
I’m originally from the UK myself but living in a Australia now and you’re right that this forum is pretty good for info and a good kick in the arse now and again.
Throw up a build thread so we can all get into your build.

Welcome mate, my understanding is that the VFR SSS into GSX-R is quite straightforward as Gix11 says. But you do need the right swingarm. 4th Gen is the best to use (1994 to 1997).
4th Gen wheel is 5", you can bolt the earlier 3rd Gen 8-spoke wheel straight on, if you can find one, it is 5.5". The later 5th/6th Gen also bolts straight on and is also 5.5".
The stud pattern is the same as small Honda cars, so you can also use an alloy aftermarket car wheel if you get the dimensions right.
Note that Honda uses ball-seat lug nuts, which are fairly unusual; acorn-seat nuts are the common style, but they have a flat angled face so won't tighten/hold correctly with a Honda wheel.

Hi thanks for all the info on the VFR750 SSS . I put it all together at the weekend ...........and didn`t like it when on .(seemed to long).
Anyway gone back to the Suzuki swinging arm , however i`ve put an underseat MV Agusta style exhaust on and now have to find a route for the exhaust pipe...........the SSS gave clearence for it . Pics to follow.

Can anyone offer suggestions on who I should contact to put a wide tyre kit on a GSX1400?

Hi Byron Bay Bikecraft.
You are best off posting a couple of new threads mate.
First one just to introduce yourself, say hello and let the guys feel as though you are part of the gang and not just a spammer:
http://www.streetfighters.com.au/for...To-The-Madness
Then after that, add your question to the section that applies to getting answers etc:
http://www.streetfighters.com.au/for...ce-or-got-some
As for the answer to who you should contact, your name gives it away somewhat! :)
