Could any scratchers out there tell me if there's such a thing as a track day at Bathurst?
I had no joy googling it, unless you've got $3300 and want to sit in a cage.

Not that I'm aware of. It's pretty rare that the track is open as a track rather than a road. You might be able to do a practice day on the saturday before a race meeting if you have a MA license

Yep, head up there and make sure no cops are around :) Go nuts. Do maybe 1 or 2 laps, then go hide for a while, let the Cops work out that they have missed you, then repeat the above :)
When the proposed 2nd track is built, there will be trackdays and racemeets, but for now.... nuthink :) Not sanctioned by MA. And the cars only get 2 meets a year...?
If you find a way to do it legally, Im up for it.
just go get youre self a v8 supercar franchise and enter in the fucking race !!!you can drive all day and then rent car out hmmmmm i hope you give more than 100 klms free .

We done a few "slow" laps around there on the bikes a couple of years ago and those big cement walls are a bit intimidating as you get onto the top of the hill (is it BP Cutting ?) and feed it some around Forrest elbow onto conrod, it is an amazing track though.Quote:

The guy at the local bike shop told me to be very careful out there as the cops crawl all over it, but we never saw one in the hour or so we were ginning around out there.

bikes goin down conrod together.
Twice got to do a few laps of track, but with radars about every 500 meters : (
Probably why I wanna do it now.

Not a very 'fast' attitude, but works for me.
Maybe we need to get a few together, and have a cockatoo on the road in?
