Have been doing more things to the mill. Made a console thing. Makes it easier to use that's for sure. The pc is mounted in the back of it.

And I made a new yoke from steel that replaced the temp ally one. Alot more ridged

But before replacing the yoke I had a go at some 3d milling. Cause of the slow spindle speed it was painful but hey it did it. I now have a water cooled 24k rpm spindle on the way and have replaced the regular coolant pump with a sub pump so I gt more pressure and more volume

For fucks sake mate rather than just sitting at home twiddling your thumbs why don't you get a hobby and do something useful with your time :D
Seriously though this stuff is significantly impressive. It just blows me away the sort of stuff that you come up with and then actually making it happen.Top job.

Well I decided I needed more rpm for a couple of reasons so I went and purchased a 2.2kw 8000 to 24000 rpm water cooked spindle. I made some mounts for it out of 20mm alloy plate. I got it up and running last weekend and it works a treat . I made a second car an what took about 6 hours to do before was knocked out in just a couple of hours and could be done faster if need be as i only had the rpm at about 16k and it is so quite compared to running to old clunky vari speed head
