This is the Toca Bro's replacement end cans for the R1 zorst among othsrs
This is what they have to say
The Toce Brothers Performance "T-Slash" pipe is now available as a slip-on replacement for 2004 to 2010 Yamaha R1's. This system includes 2 polished stainless steel midpipes and our unique 4-pipe canisters constructed of powdercoated aluminum. Specifically designed to follow the contour of the R1 tail without melting or discoloring the tail light, like many aftermarket pipes do. They connect to your factory "y" pipe and mount in the stock locations. Each set contains 4 removable baffles allowing you to set the noise level where you like it. They can be run with all 4, 2, or no baffles at all. The baffles are easily removed and can be replaced at any time. No drilling, cutting, or removing rivets. Simply remove 2 retaining nuts from each baffle and replace with 2 screws provided with your system.
They are a must have even if you have to put your wife on the game , or sell one of your kids for organ donation . Anyway, heres a link to their site

I would sell my own mother for one!
I think the only thing I might do is dump the huge mirrors for somthing a bit more suxey, and loose the tail tidy.
While we were there we had a little snoop in the British Super Bike Teams workshop.
Proper clean init!
They were racing at Cadwell park that weekend. Lucky buggers!

HOW TO FIND AN OFF SET
OK, I know the wheel offset thingy got a bit confusing there for a while, but this should help to clear things up a bit. With TMP's help this is what I came up with.
Step 1.
Lay the wheel on a flat surface hub face side up. It dont have to be level, just flat
Step 2.
Place a straight edge across the top of the tyre. This is so you can measure from the floor to the underside of the straight edge, and give you an overall width. Now depending what size tyre you use on your wheel will depend on averall width so dont go with my measurement unless you are using a 180 tyre.
Step 3.
I got 184mm, Make a note of the size on a bit of paper. I found it easier to make a sketch of the tyre and add a centre line, then add the dims to it.
Step 4.
Now measure down to the hub face, mine was 110mm. Now add that to the sketch.
This sketch should make things a bit easier
So
Overall wheel width = 184mm (With the tyre on) and = 92mm to the centre of the VFR wheel I then laid the straight edge on top of the tyre and measured down to the hub face = 110mm so that is 18mm past centre. This 18mm is my existing offset, that being the case then new wheel offset = 40mm - 18mm = 22mm + 8mm spacer to centre VFR wheel, so new spacer is 30mm
Does that make things a bit easier??
Here you go mate, hope this helps. If you send me a PM with your email addy I will send you pdf. files on how to do the conversion.

Posted - 23 Aug 2010 : 12:51:11 CBRRRT, do you mind if I pick your brain a little bit on the sssa conversion? I have a Yamaha Banshee I put a 07 Busa motor in and I am working on getting it street legal. One of the requirements to do so is that it can have no more than 3 wheels so here I am. I have a 2004 gixxer 1K swingarm that would bolt right up after pressing new bearings in but thats boring. I bought a 93 VFR750 swingarm and go figure, its 1/2 an inch too wide. No worries though, few cuts and welds more to the frame and she will slide right in. My main concern is getting the right offset and everything to get a car wheel on. I pulled an 17in. Enkie off my project Miata to see if it would bolt up but I think after I space it so that it will bolt up, it will be too far off to the side. I believe its 8in. wide. Anyhow, if you could tell me what offset and spacers you used on your setup, I would be most appreciative. Any other info would be great as well. This is seeming more and more like its gonna be a pain in the ass as time goes on and the gixxer 1k swingarm is beginning to sound more appealing.

Posted - 18 Aug 2010 : 12:08:13 CBRRRT, First off thanks for the warm welcome. I look forward to being around here for a while. It seems like a good bunch of guys. I have read your postings and looked at the pics in this post. It looks like your 96 frame may be a little different than my 93. On your bike, it looks like at the top, the r1 subframe fits inside of the 900rr frame and then you were able to bolt on your bracket? On mine the r1 subframe and 900rr frame are the same width. I could do the same kind of thing but I would have to cut the subframe to the angle i need it and then just bolt the bracket through the original frame whole and drill out a new whole in the subframe. I hope you can understand what I am trying to say. I really appreciate your time with this. Thanks a lot. Jeff
