gsxr 750 dot headed motor

motor for sale mostly complete missing alternator ignition cover and timing chain tensioner. gearbox has 2nd gear issues (jumps out)other than that motor is good for parts/rebuild

i have had this motor apart to see what was needed to fix the gearbox and noticed the big ends were a bit worn,

i wouldn't run this motor till it was pulled down first.

has the hard to find DOT head

excuse my ignorance but what is so special about the "dot" head?

they have the same size valves as the 1100 but a smaller combustions chamber, and higher ports, so when put on an 1100 you get much higher compression, but you have to be carefull you, as to much compression is not good for your motor.

note well these heads do not fit on the 750 long stroke motors
