CHECK these pimp exhausts!!!

why buy a yoshi or some other rip off exhaust for $600+

when this looks just as SICK and will perform just as good.

only $200 each and can be fitted to just about any bike.

will work best on 600cc - 1000cc or larger bikes.

I got a few different exhaust mufflers I can offer, all of them are straight through pipes wich sound SICK!!

http://i95.photobucket.com/albums/l160/itzmatty/newracetekmufflercopy.jpg

I also have this style underneath for only $200 each available in 3 different lengths, super shorty main body size 23cm, shorty main body size 30cm, or standard length main body size 40cm.

Hi there, on a 600cc using twin pipes there would not be much backpressure and it would be very free flowing, It would also produce alot of noise, meaning it will sound real good :D and they would definetly look the part;)

It will just clamp on to 50mm piping. You would still need to use the main body clamp also to hold it solid.

Of course I would use the main body clamp still, I was just curios if it would squash down enough to seal on a 50mm pipe.

Cheers for the reply.

the racetek print is on the right side muffler, if you put it on the leftside you wont see the print as it will be on the inside. they main body clamp hides most of it anyways.
so they look the same from both sides.

I will do 2 of them posted to melb for $20.

i dont intend to sound like a smart arse but to me if you are in the market for a shorty muffler and have a budget to stick to and want something pretty then grab yourself one of these. At 200 odd bucks i sure it will it will be sweet. Now if yu are serious on chasing Hp there are a reason that Akro's and Yoshis etc cost upwards of a grand, its because they are purpose built to do just that and save you weight.

Now Matt here proberly got a bit excited that ppl want his bit of gear but common guys it is what it is what it is and is a cheap option for replacing a shitty or standard can that on your beast already!

Now has anyone actually got one yet and fitted it? proberly good just to ghet some feedback from someone else on the product.

These mufflers are going to give more power over standard no matter what, they are a straight through pipe designed for maximum power output from your bike.
most standard pipes are only around 40mm at the end of the can and are not a straight through design.
The only way a yoshimura exhaust is going to put out more power is if you run the full system including headers, wich will cost around $1500+

I will be donating some cash towards ASF since I have sold a pipe on here now.
good luck with the pipe thepj I am sure you will be happy.

all the exhausts I have are slip on style, but your local exhaust shop can make you up a bracket or plate to match your existing bolt pattern, the other option is to chop of your existing muffler and weld my pipe straight onto that wich seems to be what most people are doing.

just cut of your existing exhaust pipe and have the new muffler welded onto it, or if you want to change the angle or possitioning of the muffler, best to speak to someone at an exhaust shop or someone who can weld.

Yeah, a Busa ain't a twin though.[V] I was referring more to how they would perform with the different exhaust pulses of a twin (as opposed to a 4 cyl), along with the effect on torque and midrange by lowering back pressure. Do you have any data from a TWIN for your cans?

not sure as I dont have a V twin to test them out on sorry, would you like to be the first? ;)
they perform very much the same as a yoshimura Rs3 exhaust pipe, but they do sound a little louder, that is on a 4cyl though.

thepj
15-12-2009, 06:59 PM
ye mate it is, if ya lookin to do it on a sv. i cut the can off right were it welds so if you look under the shroud at the base you can see were the pipe welds to the can. thats for original exhausts. for link pipe sheild bent the tabs at the bottom back cause the bolts and nuts are acctully welded for it. tomorrow im gonna cut them out and put new bolts to fit the shield. dont know if i made it sound complicated or not but its pretty easy just hack away lol

bikes lookin HOT guys, thanks for the pics [:p]

Would anyone make any changes to these exhausts? As i am looking into getting a new batch made up.

cheers matt

maybe take away the 'race tek' labeling as its in the wrong place anyway?

i would be keen for just a plain pipe as thats one of the reasons i have held off on getting one of these at this stage

Ok thats easy sorted, though it does polish/buff off easily anyways if thats your only worrie with the exhausts.

I'm still interested in buying those 2 off you if you have changed your mind about sending them COD.
