Well being the clumsy dick I am, I managed to shear the head off the magnetic bolt for the speed sensor on my Acewell dash. If anyone has one stuck to a bunch of bolts in a tool box somewhere I would love to take it off your hands, (For a nominal fee of course). Thanks people.

I don't have a bolt, but I've got a heap of these magnets if they're any help? (that's a 20c piece btw)

Thanks Big fella, but unless they can be tapped and fitted to a rotor then they're not gonna do the job. Should just fire off a message to Ben really.

hey guys, I've worked in pushbike shops for years and am sure to have some bicylce computer magnets laying about amongst bags of bits.
They are approx 8-10mm diameter by 5mm deep(varies a bit) and you can just glue it on where you need it. I'll dig some up if you need one. Just e-mail me an address and I will post them over.

go to jaycar and buy some of their small rare earth magnets, and add a bit of glue

the fucker isnt going anywhere. just watch you dont get any skin caught between two of them, it hurts.

Well I glued the fukka and it seems ok. I did a test with the epoxy by sticking two bits of metal together. Took ages and 2 vice grips to pull em apart. Think it's gonna be ok. Thanks all for the advice and offers.
