Have you got yours yet, Rod? If so, how long are they?
I heard they got shorter after '04

There was a complete 04 1000 front end at Goulburn swapmeet this morning. Someone got a bargain at $500 and they sold out of stuff before 7am . Ex-Trackday spares apparently .

"Wanted: K series front end."

K being thousand so technically it should be 2K series but they got labeled K1(01) K2(02) etc for some reason...

anything suitable for a bandit conversion, im not even sure of the lenght difference. im guessing the longer the better as it would be closer to the original bandit.

would the busa forks be as good? not sure they would have full adjustability like the gsxr?

sharky the 600 no good as they are not upside down. thanx for the offer anyway.

to the guys that have done the conversion, how is it with the lower forks? did you drop the rear as well or no need as it handles fine?

My rear is a bit higher than stock due to the Busa shock and I have had no probs at all with the shorter front end. The only side effect I have noticed is an increase in cornering awesomeness!

i have jacked up the rear of my bandit a fair bit and the only prob i have is at about 240kph it starts to wobble a little but thats about it i will have that sorted soon as i have just fitted the 48 tooth rear sprocket so it will be giddy up time hahahaha
