Awsome roads. I went round it in a hire car. We took that car down heaps of off-road type rallys.
We even wrote "Victorian Racing Team"down the side of the panels in all the dirt and dust we'd collected.
Man that holiday went off [}:)]

The only problem with taking the bike is the amount of bloody roadkill you get.
Hook into a corner and,
whoopsy[:O]

I thought people only put Tasmania as where they live in theiry profile as a joke - like Kazahkstan or Jamaica.
You're telling me people actualy LIVE there? [:O]

The one thats still making chocolate??? Its still going. I was over there last year driving through Penguin and there was a shitty old building with cadbury signs. Its the original factory apparently.

Not any more they hand out fuck all, when I was a lad we used to go there with school and ya could just pull the chocolate straight off the belts, they are pretty anal with food regs these days though as are most joints I guess.

Yeah i got the shits when we went round tassie in 04, in a campervan [xx(] and got fuck all at the cadbury factory, we werent allowed to touch anything and we only got one chocolate each! what a waste of $35.

Tasmania as a whole though, fucking beautiful place, love it.

It is a pretty awesome place to grow up and would be a great place to retire but couldn't see myself living there again for a while even if my family is there, just nothing there (except the excellent roads everyone is right about that).

Had a ball growing up there but after living away for the last 14 years, there's no way I could live there again.
Last time I took a bike there was for two weeks, but slid the old girl down the road on the second day I was there. Spent the rest of trip hobbling around and fixing the bloody bike :(
