Go on, rub it in...
Really should have another track day at some point. Probably need a bike that doesn't drip oil though. Which one are you taking?

I'm stuck in the workshop, I'll wave from 20 minutes away on the other side of Ipswich

Well, one drip from when I got back until now. So probably not an issue, but scrutineers may see it differently unless I do a major clean up under there.

Took the Yammie. Took everything off it that I could. When I took it to get checked before riding the guy squeezed the brake lever to the bar. Not a good start. He let me go though. Had a fun day and only soiled the undies twice.

Nothing like a good undie soiling.

It's not a track day unless you near shit yourself a couple of times...........or crash.

How'd the brakes handle it ?

Just backed off a bit before necessary. One time I got in trouble was following a 1198 duke down the back straight and got too close to the corner, he braked easy while I had the back wheel skipping, and I was on the inside of him.

oops.

I was aiming up this bloke on his 675 Daytona into turn two (LH) at eastern creek once and I though I'll have you on the outside under brakes carnt. The prick braked early and continued to move to the RH side of the track before tipping in gradually pushing me into the daisies, he woke up to what was going on when my front tire rubbed his leg. It wasn't until we went back to the pits after the session and realised we were both in the same garage, we laughed, me mostly at the mark on his new white leathers.
Probably not the best overtaking manuver I've attempted.
I really liked doing track days, I'll try and do some again next year this work shit is killing me.
