Ride Sat 11th, leave from Gold Coast

Righto guys i'm keen to get a ride for a few fighters going.

Sat the 11th, meet at the the United servo on Somerset drive at 07:30

I'm thinking to get away from local Gold Coast traffic & cops we could head from Servo over Tomewin Rd to Murwillumbah, there we have 5-10 min break & then smash kyogle Rd to Kyogle, has recently had some roadwork & is pretty good now where it was chopped up bad & is a fun road. Stop for refuel & snack break at Kyogle.

Then do Summerland way towards Woodenbong, nice big sweepers & overtaking lanes, R1 saw 260 out there last ride haha !!

Then turn on to Mt Lindsay Hwy & smash the nice smooth corners through there, pop out the other side & then after that it's most of the awesome roads over & cruise through Rathdowney, Beadusert & Canungra back to Gold Coast & stop for a few beers & lunch at one of those towns.

For what it's worth - I follow all the ride topics even though all my bikes are parked up - it gives me motivation, I even nearly came to a ride meet in my Patrol once just to meet some of the guys (kid stuff got in the way of that).

Went & smashed out solo loop today, took GoPro & got some good onboards & then set it up roadside twice with mini tripod to get some different angles, first time just to pop wheelies past it & second for some knee scraping action.

Had an awesome run, fuck all traffic & NO cops, did Mt Lindesay 3 times, north / south / north, after that i was hot, bike was hot, tyres were hot & basically cruised from rathdowney to home then smashed beers in the pool !

Will edit all my footage up into a vid soon, hopefully get a few people out for a ride sometime
