Firstly I thought I'd better start with a disclaimer..... I'm a complete newby when it comes to setting up and riding a bike as a Drag bike.

I bought an 84 GSX1100EF a while ago with the plan of getting it back on the road as some old school cool with a few modern twists eg front end and rear end conversion. As usual, murphy came along and changed those plans so Plan B was enacted.... Making it into a drag bike...

I've been down the strip a few times on a few of my road bikes eg GSXR11 Streetfighter and ZX12R etc I've met a bloke who's been riding EFEs as a drag bike for years who's helping me get my bike ready for my first run in 2 weeks and is going to mentor me to ensure I dont F up and kill myself lol.

So far I've swapped out the 1100 rear suspension and put in a 750 rear shock to drop the arse end. I've dropped the front end by pulling through forks by an inch or two and putting on a set of clip ons.ive also put a set of tie down straps on front forks too

Future plans for the bike as follows:
- Sidewinder exhaust
- 38 flat side carbs
- 4.5 inch rear wheel conversion
- air shifter
- straight cut gears
- etc etc

Loose the dash, it'd pick up 0.5sec due to less wind resistance lol

Yeah, once I get more financial. Looking strep lacing it with something with a shift light etc.... Will see what happens
