Well done for getting out yesterday - was pretty shite for a while.

What your next dates? I'm out again on July 21 then Sep 15 if you're about?

Was a really good day, first session when the track was really wet was a bit sketchy, but ended up a really good day. The last session that we all did (except for Fimp who had already called it a day and was having his first hot shower for the week) was great. Followed my brother for a bit, was knee down through a rainbow thinking this is fucking awesome, until I realised that rainbow meant more rain, and it started pissing down.
After a sphincter puckering corner I came in and called it a day. Fucking good day considering how shit it looked at the start.

Probably not for a while for me, the 2 days I've done recently were birthday presents, I don't think I can keep milking that.
It was my first wet track day, and it felt pretty good to see how much you can do in the rain. Although I'm unlikely to see any 130 degree hairpins on my commute to work.

i raised my pegs on tuesday so i was happy NOT to be grinding the knee as much (or my boots, or pegs, or the brake lever...)

Upwards of $230.....tho on some forums,if you can get there at short notice, people sell them alittle cheaper if something happens and they cant make it.......coz of no refund policy or whatever....

look into ride days at The Farm,up your way somewhere on the central coast.
Private track, usually run as a school/tuition type of thing....alittle dearer, but well worth the money from what i hear.
They only do afew day a year up there, and minimum numbers are allowed on track (its technically some rich dudes driveway, but it's longer than Eastern creek and has more turns!!)

If you do,i'd be up for that. Just make sure its in the warmer months......winner there is very cold.
If you are actually talking about hiring the track privately.....I know before you could hire it between a group of mates, and it wasn't all that dear....but now,i think bike guys aren't allowed to do that, all bike days have to go thru Terry Oneal at Formula Extreme.

ok gents,
mate here from work did a toprider day on the new short-course at EC yesterday

apparently it was the TITS
encourage camera use and hand out laptimers
better photos with SEQUENCE shots so you can actually tell how you are approching corners etc PLUS you can take a usb and download the photos IMMEDIATELY after each session and have a look at them on your tablet/laptop
full walk of the track showing cambers and undulations you dont normally notice
hints from the trainer (one trainer per group, dedicated)
bike setup demo and help (sag etc)
fitness demo including bike specific stretches etc
http://www.toprider.com.au/Pages.asp?PageID=43

well worth a bit extra, from what i was hearing on the phone early the whole thing is run MUCH BETTER than the cash-grabbers at ECRDays

anyone else keen?
there is one on 12th of aug...

Bernie knows his shit mate. Even if it's not him on the day he will have trained the teacher well. A good investment I say!

I'm keen but the date's no good for me. I will have a look at what available at The Farm in September sometime ? Josh has been talking about wanting to do one too.
