Is the led headlight on the XR any good? Does it throw usable light?

Haven't ridden it in the dark yet......but i dont think its very good...especially around my area.
In built up areas with streetlights it might let people know you're coming,but thats about it.

Its probably less than the cost to find a rego'd donor bike and parts.
If i rode it around bondi or surry hills for a week with for sale on it in summer,some skinny jeans wearing trendy would snap it up for a mint. Have you seen the prices people ask for cafe racers,and that kind of thing!!! That whole scene is killing it at the moment.
