As the title says, I was peer pressured into buying this for the princely sum of $170. It came with a mold for a cafe racer seat so who knows where it will go? This is not the actual bike but pretty close.

Haha, pressured
TK; "You should buy that Bryn..."
OSB; "It would be rude not to." :)

TK offers $150, (price marked was $200)
OSB scratches head "how would I get it home"?
TK plenty of room in the van

(This is where my memory is foggy)

TK come on you soft cock, if you don't buy it you're a girly boy, a real man has heaps of bikes do it do it do it

That's how I choose to remember it anyway.

If a 90cc postie can do a skid (with effort) this jigger will one day.

Hey Bryn

Turbo Bandit on hold and GT 380 and A100 Zook being refurbed. I'm assuming you're VJMC member and have leather patches on your elbows?
2 strokes are cool though

Keep having flashbacks to my youth when I see these old zook smokers. Just love 'em and want them in my shed. Pretty cheap hobby / therapy not to mention heaps of fun to ride.

Cool ! Is that a fizzie with an RD250 donk in it ? Funny thing is a fs1e is probably worth more than an RD

Had a closer look and now I'm confused, wtf is it?

I'm not too sure I'm thinking it's probably an early RD 350 but I love the rearset on it just like it was done back in the day

I looked at that and thought it'd be a cool bike to have.
I was looking at the rust.
$1500 for a ratty frame, incomplete motor, stuffed tank , no brakes etc .. very hard to get parts too :(
Then there was the 1925 Douglas for 9K, also incomplete.. did think about them both ...

Clubs suck arse, none of them will have me.

TK was having a chuckle coz apparently I was looking at the same stuff as you. The A100 was too pretty and too cheap not to take home though.

It's duffs a shed build and I'm sure it's a fizzy frame with down tubes bolted in. Got confused by the front end though. Where's Jockney jim when you need him? He would have an idea, probably built one himself!

Definitely a Fizzie and it does look like he's welded downtubes in and suspect he's upgraded the front brake from the donor bike. Looks like work in progress and imagine it would be fuckin terrifying to ride if finished. I reckon too much Carlesberg Special Brew had been drunk when he did that.

The $1500 rustmobile was down to $1200 when I left, personally I think it had you written all over it & you shoulda got it.

I bought that 'charger for $50, turned out to be an SC12, got it home, stripped it down & cleaned all the grit out, filed a tiny nick off one of the lobes & reassembled it with a coating of oil & it's smooth as a baby's bum! Just gotta source a pulley for it.
It fits nicely in the space behind the cylinders on a Katana ;) evil thoughts have already been thunk...
I haven't even taken the 100 out of the van yet Bryn, I knew that if I did I would end up wasting valuable Katana time playing with it  we'll have a tinker on it when you pick it up.

Ha, good buy TK.

I have a heap of pulleys at home, gilmore and serps.
We should be able to get one to fit.

You will need to extend (hehe) the drive anyway so might need to make a nose for it.
Then you can fit any pulley you want.

I've been thinking about that bloody bike since i left for home...... More important things to buy at the moment tho.
