Watch the lights...don't wait for the green one..go on the last orange.
By the time you react to it it will be green.

Oh and 'Kick it in the guts and Rip the b'jeezus out of it'

1. Take off skirt. (doesn't apply to everyone)
2. Don't worry about burnouts etc. at first, just get a feel for it.
3. Once you have some kind of idea how the bike will react & remember all bikes are different, do what Sharky said.
4. Don't try to change things every pass to try to go quicker, do everything the same every time but just get smoother at it.
5.Most important thing of all,,,,,,,HAVE FUN

For the first few times treat it like a set of traffic lights,

right ive got a bit of a nutty idea ....
ive always wanted to make a really good 2stroke sprinter and as i know more about stokeres than i do about 4 stokes i thot this may well be the way to go ..
ive heard of a guy making racing engines for banshees ..and he bases them on a 350 lc bottom end ..reckons hes getting 112 rwbhp from a 500cc twin ..i wanna put one of those in a gamma frame and race it for fun ..

i think it is the two stroke shop you are talking about and the motors they are doing are about 10k a pop

Clean out ya bank account before your first run. Drag racing is like cocaine. Exspensive, addictive but oh so much fun! Have a ball mate.
