Fairly reasonable prices, Just curious if they are DOT or ADR approved & marked?
Also I know you mentioned they are standard replacement lines but can they be ordered shorter or longer than standard lengths, I think most of us on here (That dont use stock clip ons) would need slightly longer clutch & front brake hoses
Are you going to have the other colours later on?

DOT is irrelevant.
Mono wouldn't be selling them if they weren't ADR.
I'd been considering Venhill for a while due to how flexible they are in sizes and fittings, perfect for streetfighters and customs.

Thanks Simon I went straight to the video & missed the top part about the custom lengths etc

Yeah DOT is a US standard is that correct?
I agree Evl they are a very nice looking product especially the options of many different fittings etc

Just curious I thought I read somewhere or was told (years ago this was) that you have to use brake hoses that are ready made with the fittings/banjo's already attached and not bolt together hoses & labelled to show the comply, To be legal that is & not get in the shit when pulled over if they want to find something to take your bike off the road? Would be a real prick to ping you on the brake hoses but it would happen I spose

I'm pretty sure they're ADR compliant distributed by a reputable importer, anyway if the cops want to find something to get you on they'll find something, really unfair not out fault they didn't get laid
Yeah DOT is a US standard.
I think a lot of the ADR's are a load of crap it's just a way of isolating the australian market.

On another note I was running these lines claimed to be made by hel and adr compliant however they had no adr markings and I got pulled over 4 times with them on, they never said anything about them.

If you get a cop who is going to be checking
the ADR spec on your lines then 99% of bikes
on here would be f#cked anyway for many
other reasons.

Yes there are ADR approved, they have changed the way lines are tested. It's actual how the end of the hose is secured to the fitted that can't be a nut clamp style fitting like on an oil line.

Yes that's right 80s, this is the point of deference.

All other lines are cut and crimped, if they get the rotation of the banjo wrong on the line they won't twist but will coil and most likely rub or not follow the desired path.
Venhill is a totally modular system every component is sold separately or in basic kits. Lines are manufactured in 25mm lengths starting from 150mm. ( I keep Black, Carbon and Stainless in stock)
Please note all lines are stainless braid it's just the outer cover that is different .

Here's some reasons to chose Venhill

Example 1
Swap front ends, calipers, fork lengths, etc banjos and oem lines might be wrong rotation length etc.
Venhill no problem order every piece to suit where you want to run the line, dry fit everything (at this stage lines can be returned).
When happy wet up the system, DONE.

Example 2
Want to go to the 1/4 mile, add your swing arm extensions then just swap the line for 150mm longer without buying all the extra fittings, especially if there complex banjos

Remember if you sell or swap parts out, all components are reusable on the next project
