Ive noticed a lot of you guys like your older bikes well here is my first ever build, I swapped this old 1983 jr50 for a job about 8 years ago and it has been sitting since, my boys are getting big now so time for a spruce up, here it is the before shot

I was originally going to rat rod it but now im glad I didnt, so I stripped it back, Added some paint and got some new forks from Ebay

then had to make some pretty wheels, so from this

I made some heavy spokes then got everything powdercoated to this

then Hunted around the interweb for guards and got some stickers made

then seat redone and some training wheels and she is a runner,

having been through all this with my kids .. mate take the training wheels off it will only take a couple of goes and the will ride it without them

but look at how much fun he is having, lol
he isnt even close to riding so the wheels are pretty much a stand for the bike, he cant even hold the weight of the bike yet, here is a pic of my older boys jr

here is my young bloke on his drz70 it has a full yoshi system and jetting to suit he is trying to learn how to do wheelies
