I'm looking at buying a complete kit to extend my s/arm. Need extensions for the s/arm as well as brake line. need to also figure out how to mount the caliper bracket too.

Any ideas where to look??

Chain too.

Not used them myself but i've been told you can use an oversea's agent
to repost goods that the seller won't send international.

On stock wheel base an R1 should be running very low 10's
before you need long arms/links/strap's etc.

At Casino 2009 I had run a 10.5. However the lights were not set-up professionally so I don't know for sure what times I was doing. Back then the bike had all the fairings on. Now in it's current form it has:
No fairings (lack of downforce and lighter on the front)
Risers and handlebars rather than the clip-ons (resulting in a shift of my weight further back)
Gearing has been lowered both front and rear sprockets.

This is all great for the road as it is an extremely fun bike to ride, but a real bitch at the drags. Add to that a new rear tyre, so whilst everyone else was having problems trying to get some traction, I could not get mine to step out 1 bit and keep its nose on the ground.

Hence looking at getting bolt-on extensions and also some old style cafe swoop down bars as I cannot fit clip-ons with my current headlight bracket

Wasnt try to be a smart arse.

Longer arm is the way to go as anything sporty
is normaly on the short side for the drags.

I just see loads of folk asking about long arms,
straps, links etc then find that they're running mid
11's and just want to buy a quicker time.
Anything big and vaguely sporty should be running low 10's
out of the box, if not, its the rider that's holding it back
more often than not.

I've had a couple of long arm bikes but never used bolt-on'
extensions, I'll be interested to see what you think.
