spend half that on a turbo kit get and get another 50% more power and it is off to the hookers with the rest

That thing would be hard to ride with all that grunt, especially at stock height.
My 600 does 10.50s lowered, it probably weights 70kgs less than the 1400 though!

No, with the pipes, powercommander, cams, headwork, and bigbore kits it's just over $8000 and then you have rebuid labour and dyno time on top of that. :)
