Vic. AFR meeting IS ON!!!

Righto Victorians, the April Fools Run is only a couple of months away & we need to seriously organise ourselves now or before we know it, there'll be a week to go & we'll all be wondering where the time went.
I'm proposing we get together somewhere soon & sort out exactly who is coming & the hows, whys & whens of it all. There's a lot to sort out with transport, timing, costs, time off work, etc, etc. Probly at a centrally located pub with a quiet bistro on a Fridy/Satdy night.
I'm proposing Friday the 25th of this month at the Matthew Flinders (Zagames) Hotel in Warrigal Rd Chadstone (Yeah, OK, it's 2 mins from my joint but it IS centrally located) If you can't make that date, suggest a date when you can & if everyone agrees, we'll do that.
Please don't put your hand up to lob if you don't intend to come to the AFR, that'll just confuse & complicate things, there'll be plenty of other occasions for socialising, this is business.

OK chaps, this Fridays proposed meeting will not be going ahead due to lack of interest, I've spoken to a few of the lads & it looks like there'll only be half a dozen of us going up so there won't be any major logistics to organise to get there.

I didn't register the dates when I read Loads' post, I thought he was talking about the AFR (which would have been bizzare because I was organising AFR transport with him yesterday) but it's the Supers he'll be late for - not a problem after all :) I think he just posted it under the wrong topic.
Deano set me straight on the dates tonight & Latheboy werded me up as well so it's all systems go after all thank Mick. ;)
I haven't had time to get to Bikecraft Si but I'll get down there some time next week & have a yarn to Brad & see what his plans are.

Darren (Turbokat - remember the handsome one that fell asleep at the Bikecraft gig and then wondered off in a daze in the morning?) seems to be ring leader down there mate. You guys should all get together and sort out logistics.

Nobody from Victoria (except Latheboy who will be accompanying the dynamometer, Rod - who seems to be riding up & Scotty) has actually 100% committed to going to the AFR yet Si, a few members are keen on the idea of going but most of us are baulking at the time/distance/costs involved.
There has also been a suggestion of us running a mini AFR for Vic. members if we can't get to the real thing.
Either way, it looks like it will be a last minute decision.
All I can say is watch this space.

The problem that I'm having is that the new boss is taking his sweet fucken time in granting my leave. Only gave him 8 weeks notice.
I was going to tow a trailer that Turbokat has gotten his hands on but until I get the leave approved I say it's 100%.
