I know these things are like rocking horse pooh now but I'll give it a try here anyways.

Shopping list as follows :)

1. 88 750J Slingshot rear wheel
2. Sprocket carrier
3. Caliper hanger
4. Spacers

All this will be going in my Slabby 1100J.Really like to stay with the 4.5" rear rim. But if anyone knows the definitive word on fitting a 5.5" rim I'd like to hear, specially the guys that have done it themselves.

Cheers guys

88 was not a slingshot but, I have a 86 slabby that I am putting 90 mod 17in/5.5 wheels onto and takein off the 18/4.5s I thort the 18s were the way to go but nothing but shit rubber now days, what year is your slabby coz 86 mod is a G mod. the 750 J 90 mod had 17s and upside down fronted which bolts straight up to a slabby and the rear gos straight in as well.
I would sell you my old 18s but im puttin them on a riged chop im makin.

88 1100 was last 1100 slabby and had 3 spoke 18's 2.75 front & 4.5 rear
88 750 was first slingshot (new shape)
I've got 3 spoke 18's (wanna replace them).....got a 1100K frontend...looking for a 4.5 rear....750 J had conventional forks and 4.5 rear
