Katana rolling chassis

A mate of mine is looking for a Katana roller, he has a good engine , wants to put later forks etc on it to make a modern day Kat.

What differences were there for the different engine sizes ? will a 750 and 1100 interchange straight in ? (I was playing with Honda's in that era)

750 & 1100 motors/frames are interchangeable, the bottom engine mount is about 12mm closer/further away but only needs a small plate steel bracket with 3 holes in it to be made up & you're in business - a piece of cake for a gentleman of your fabricationery talents Gregory.

I recon my mate will have no prob either,he wants to put his prostock engine , mildly detuned, into a streetbike.figures a 200+hp Kat would be fun..esp with modern suspension and brakes.
