Mines an fz6n unit, bought it new from yamaha for a about $400. Kinda expensive, but I love the shape, and i knew that it actually worked as a headlight (as opposed to the shitty powerbronze twin light set up it replaced).

I'm looking for a late model FZ1n or 6n light setup aswell. Had it in mind before I saw Hooligan's bike and when I saw it, that just confirmed the choice for me. They look great and and I thought they should be a decent working light.
Yamaha quoted me $600 for brand new 2007 model!!

Had a look-see round a wrecker the other day and thought that a bare Busa light would look cool but it'd take a lot of modding to adapt it, me thinks. Might be in the too-hard basket.

Same staory with me I thought $600 was a bit steep but looking back mine has cost probably more then that so its not always cut and dry

$600 was just for the light! The mount bracket and plastic surrounds where extra. [:0]

I might pass on the Busa light for now. Thanks anyway. :)
Got enough work ahead of me and I've ordered an Acerbis Cyclope headlight assembly. At least I know I can mount that to my dirt bike if I want to get creative down the track.
