Photo Opportunity

I have a good mate of mine that has agreed to take a few pics of "Mongrel" with one of the F111's on base. Ive discussed the idea previously of getting as many of the QLD streetfighters bikes and people to Amberley to get a group shot.. Fighter against fighter kinda thing. Detais as below.

Date: 30 Sep 07
Time: TBA closer to day and dependant on participants.
Where: RAAF Base Amberley. Can meet at Goodna BP at scheduled time if easier.
Who: Anyone in QLD that can bring their bike along to join in (or spectate

This friend of mie does very professional work and he's intent on getting lighting equipment etc. If you would like a solo group of pics for showing your beast off, Im sure he would be willing to assist for a minor fee (he is a professional photographer so he needs to make something somewhere).

Nah... one of our Reservists is an excellent photographer who took that attack photo of myself and my dog which was used for my tank pic.

Hes quite willing to do some individual shots, but unfortunately it wont be a freeby for the solo shots.

ok mate that sounds great i am flying out of brissy on the 27th now and will arrive in surfers on the 18th but i am only staying there for a few days before moving on to brissy for the bike expo whereabouts are you mate

Jarrod - you'll need to find out about this one. If he wants to take photo's on base -especially around the pigs - he'll need permission from the Base Commander.... and I'm not so sure he'd get it either.

Im on it Stu.. As long as im not taking pics of technical areas of aircraft, they are fine with photography within reason. Got a few calls to make tomorrow...

Afterall.... they goin to scrap heap in a couple of years lol....

Sorry for the delay in confirming the activity... Im still awaiting for the final approval from heighrachy... but as for timings etc. its going to be a mid-late arvo shoot as best light at that time.. Got a generator, lighting, aircraft, and photographer so all Im waiting on is the slow cogs of democracy...
