Hey guys, I need to borrow a front steering head lift stand so I can change the fork oil. Anyone got one I could borrow for a weekend? cheers Ken

Ken I have the bike stand it's a bit big and heavy to strap to ya back and take home. If you want to come round to the garage and use the facilities at the weekend you are welcome to.

Ken, you can:

1) chock the sidestand up a couple inches
2) jack the bike up under the engine (with a few old magazines between the jack and the metal to protect it)

The front wheel comes up fine and it's more than solid enough to take forks off etc. That's how I change my steering head bearings, no wuckers.

I just shove two car jacks under each side of the engine on the frame and wind both sides up, its more stable that way
