aint got it off yet but its not lookin good the cams look ok and evrythings where it should be but the main tensioner ..doesnt.. ive got to take the engine out of the frame first cos theres not enough clearance to lift the head over the studs and as im gonna have to do that i thot an engine swop would be just as much hassle/expense then i can strip my old lump down make it an 1100 and breath on it a bit

I finally tracked down the bloke with the 1100 motor. Short version is even though it's a stalled project that he's spent alot of dosh on he isn't going to sell it at the moment. He's keeping the spare engine as a "Just in Case" and won't part with any parts off it. However, being the prick that I am & knowing that you are after the bits he has, I told his wife what the project would be worth if he flogged it off as parts so it might come onto the market anyway. If so, I'll give you a nudge as the motor with the bike(ie. not the spare) is rebuilt with about $3800 in receipts.
