Hey Papa Smurf: Considering that you're even older than me... you'd remember the Castrol Six Hour and people actually road racing them? Or is it just me that's old and sad.

Dynotec (Old Sydney shop that thankfully fucked off) had a twin turbo CBX in the early eighties. Never saw it run.

Twin turbo CBX ran at the salt in 06, think they had trouble tuning .
There's also a neat single turbo CBX at the salt most years, ex dragbike from somewhere international, at first i wondered if it was the same bike , but this one is in mostly street trim.

Yes i remember them racing the six hour, great spectacle & even better atmosphere.
They should bring that concept back & see how the late model rocket ships handle that kind of abuse.
Heard about that twin turbo but never saw it, would have been interesting.
Would love to get hold of one & just go fuckin sick with the donk & giggle juice but too hard to get hold of & way out of my budget.
