Hi all
Been lurking for a while now so thought an intro was in order.
Currently have a FZ1 (slightly modifiedand soon to be up for sale), and just bought a 02 R1 to strip and fighter. First bike I’ve stripped and being slightly non mechanical, it should be interesting journey!!!
I’ve included a few photos of the work so far. A few bits are getting plastic welded at the moment, have to get a new dash frame made, and get around to ordering come fat bars, lights etc. Hoping to get the bike back on the road in a couple of weeks depending on spares and so forth.
Top site this - loads of great ideas and bikes.

Cheers guys …. Gix, just putting the tail and guard back on with perhaps the hugger – not sure on that one but bit worried about all the shit thrown up from the rear wheel.
Just finished getting the radiator off and that’s off tomorrow to get a new core as there were gapping holes in it.
Will get around to picking up a few bits and pieces from AuSFR in the next couple of days as well – look to have some good gear there.

good to see a few modern bikes getting hit with the streetfighter stick. with a 150 odd Hp standard atleast you dont have to worry about that side of stuff straight away
