This type of bike started in the USA (can you tell) but is taking off here in Australia. Some of the quicker bikes in the US are running 6.9? @ over 200mph on street tyres. Here in Australia we have outlaw bikes running 7.5s @ 195mph. 600+hp bikes in the US are not uncommon in this class of racing. I reckon the are the best looking race bikes out there, i just thought id share these pics with you.

The classic gixer black and grey one is my fav. The 3rd one seems a bit tall to ride, need a ladder to get on.

That would be one hell of a crash back down to earth. What actually did happen next in that one?

This bloke launches pretty hard too, i love the gap between the tyre and track. I suppose that happens when you run a wheelie bar bike with no bars!

Davo your sort of right. Turbos are within the rules in Australia tho. Maybe Abusa,Booster or Wolf Racing can explain this better than me tho

Rules loosely based on American Series and not the Outlaw Cars that race here.

Outlaws are really cool - although some of the pics above aren't Outlaw class bikes but are ProStreet class, there's even one pic of a 60" class GSX-R...
There's now an Outlaw class running in the UK, and although there is at least one Outlaw that has beenr aced (a nitrous GSX-R with slider clutch that ran an 8.summat last year) no Outlaws have raced in the new series, even after two rounds!

That is some wild shit... Those launchers are bloody impressive. You'd have to wear a fucking helmet on your cock to stop it getting smashed everytime you come back to earth!

Why do most of those drag bikes run only 1 front disk?? Would have thought the more anchors the better at the end of the run?

Gotta admire the determination in this blokes eye's. I can only imagine he saw it through to the finish line, even if he was in pain[8D].
