Just think Alfie, you'll never need any more than a teeshirt under your leathers soon.(perhaps some underwear).

Are you in London Dave? Snow in London is a rare thing even when I was there due to the polution and higher temperature caused by it. Must be bloody cold over there!

All you pommie blokes, don't listen to the stories of it not getting too cold over here, I used to live in Lithgow, west of Sydney, used to ride to work in -6deg, get to work with ice all around my mouth, the front of my leather jacket etc, I even played rugby at Oberon in a blizzard, we didn't have half time, just switched sides and kept on playing, rode home after that while it was still snowing, Queensland is ok though, not many places that frost up.

Yeah, they don't call'em the Snowy Mountains because of their sunburnt appearance

Now that's intersting... y'see I actually like the changing seasons, I would get bored if it was warm and sunny ALL the time, and the passing interest I have had in getting out of this country is purely political. But now I'm interested... :D

Yea, I've been in 12 foot deep snow before. In Andora. We had to dig our way out of the hotel as we were trapped in. I might have some photos somewhere. The best part was all the cars were hidden and the snow plow literally ploughed all the cars, ripped off mirrors and doors. You'd think he would have stopped after the first one. Maybe it was his last day?

Used to live in Armidale (Northern NSW) - rode the TT600 out to Point Lookout standing in 2 foot of snow looking across to the ocean near Coffs Harbour on a nice sunny day - now that was strange and some slippery fun on the chook chaser too
